THANKS TO THE PLANO FIRE DEPARTMENT!

On May 9th, 2011 while driving her car, my daughter was hit by a woman driving an Expedition who ran a red light. Station Five of the Plano Fire Department was one of three fire stations to respond to the accident. Pictured here are the Station Five Fire Fighters who arrived in the engine and truck. They used the Jaws of Life to cut Cathy out of her car. Thank you for your quick response, and thanks also to the Medics from Station Six and Station Ten!

It’s true that Kent Rathbun has successful restaurants in Dallas such as Abacus, The Blue Plate, and Jasper’s and Zea Woodfire Grill in Plano. California Home Is Most Expensive Sold In U.S.

A Russian billionaire recently purchased a Los Altos Hills, CA home for a reported $100,000,000 according the Luxury Insights blog.  This transaction is the most expensive home to sell in the U.S. this year and is another example that the luxury home market is moving again.  In February, luxury homes over $1,000,000 rose 4% over last year.  Laurie Moore-Moore of the Institute For Luxury Home Marketing attributes this luxury home sales trend to an increase in the number of affluent households, and the affluent having more confidence in the economy and cash to invest from pulling it out of other investments.

Mad Hatter’s Tea Party At The Dallas Arboretum!

The Women’s Council of the Dallas Arboretum hosted it’s annual Mad Hatter’s Tea Party on April 21st at the Dallas Arboretum. A well heeled crowd enjoyed the Alice In Wonderland theme, and were served champagne and appretizers before a style show presented by Anne Fontaine, Betty Reiter, Karen Millen, Tootsies, and Tory Burch. After the style show the “Hat Awards” were presented and then the patrons enjoyed a lunch served on the patio. Featured here are Shane, Debbie, and Billy. Shane Winter and his associate, Billy recieved the “Most Creative” Hat Awards.
