McKinney, Texas, incorporated in 1848, is a unique city by nature. The city is located 30 miles north of Dallas, and is the county seat of Collin County. Currently, McKinney is one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S with a current population of 121,000. McKinney offers gentle rolling hills with lush trees, beautiful parks, a historic downtown square, and unique neighborhoods which give the town a quaint feeling. That’s a real contrast to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex’s urban profile.
McKinney enjoys a healthy balance of retail, office, and manufacturing. Some of McKinney’s leading employers include Blockbuster, Timber Blind Manufacturing, Raytheon, and McKinney Medical Center.
